Part: Checks and maintenance
Operation: How to reset the ECU on the Nissan X-trail MK2

Let's see in this short video how to reset the ECU or the control unit on the second series Nissan X-Trail, but also on most Nissan models from 2006 onwards. First we get in the car and turn on the ignition; within three seconds we press the accelerator pedal five times, as shown in the video. At this point we wait about seven seconds and press the accelerator pedal again, holding it down for ten seconds. In this way we will see that the warning light of the engine or of the control unit will start to flash more quickly, until it goes out completely!

How do I unlock the automatic transmission of the BMW 3 Series?

In order to unlock the automatic transmission of the BMW 3 Series, the Start / Stop button and the lever release button must be pressed at the same time. This procedure will allow the car gearbox to be unlocked for about 15 minutes, so that in the event of an engine failure, the car can still be moved. It may be necessary to repeat the operation more than once for its success. After unlocking the gearbox, it can return to its original state by simply waiting for the aforementioned 15 minutes, or by pushing the release lever forward for a few seconds.
