Replacing the battery in the key fob for a Nissan Terra is a very simple operation. Take the key fob for your vehicle, and on the back, there is a small lever that you need to press to extract the metal key. At this point, using a flathead screwdriver, pry at the edge of the top part of the casing to open it. Once the fob is open, you will have access to the battery to be replaced; it can be removed using the flat end of the screwdriver.

Proceed to replace it with a new battery. The required model is a flat CR 2035 battery.
