How to reset the radio on the Nissan Murano?

To reset the radio on the Nissan Murano, turn on the ignition so that the central display also lights up: once it is on, rotate the volume knob clockwise and then counterclockwise. After a few seconds, the diagnostic menu will appear: by selecting "Self diagnosis", the onboard computer will perform a self-diagnosis. When this is complete, the device will turn off and on automatically, confirming that the device has been reset.
