First, ensure that the engine is completely cold, then open the bonnet and remove the upper filler cap. Next, go underneath the vehicle, unscrew the drain plug, and let all the oil in the system drain out. At this point, locate the filter housing, unscrew it, and insert the replacement along with a new gasket.

Finally, reassemble everything and pour new oil through the upper hole.
