To replace the front shock absorber on a Nissan Qashqai, lift the car using a jack or ramp so that the bolts securing the front wheel can be loosened: this will allow you to remove the corresponding wheel from its housing by unscrewing the bolts at the rear that secure the shock absorber from below.

To unscrew the bolts securing the shock absorber from above, open the bonnet and detach the plastic panel at the base of the windscreen: this will allow you to loosen the securing bolts of the shock absorber, which can then be extracted and replaced with a new one.
