In this video tutorial, you will see how to replace the oil filter and top up the engine oil in the Nissan Micra, following a few simple steps: first, lift the car with a hydraulic jack and place axle stands for your safety; position a used oil container under the oil sump; unscrew the oil filter, remove it from its seat, and replace it with a new one, adding a new gasket. Once the new filter is screwed in, unscrew the drain plug using a 14mm spanner, allowing the oil to drain into the used oil container, then clean the plug and insert a new O-ring. Lower the car, lift the bonnet, and secure it with the appropriate prop, then top up the engine oil (5w-40) using a funnel; reposition the oil cap and then start the engine for a few minutes. After 5 minutes of the engine stopping, check the engine oil level using the dipstick and add oil if necessary.
