Nissan Navara - Video tutorial

Model: Nissan Navara D23 - Years 2014-2023
Part: Engine oil
Operation: How to replace the oil and oil filter of the Nissan Navara.

To replace the oil and oil filter of the Nissan Navara, we open the engine hood, pour engine circuit cleaner into the oil filling cap, start the car for 3-4 minutes, lift the car, unscrew the oil drain plug to drain the oil into a container, clean the plug seat and plug, and lower the car. On the right side of the wheel, we use a wrench to unscrew the oil filter cover, remove the oil filter, drain the oil into a container, clean the filter seat, spread oil on the gasket of the new filter, and screw it back in with the outer protection. After screwing in the oil filter, we open the oil filling cap, insert a funnel, pour in the liters indicated by the manufacturer. When we are close to the indicated liters, we check the level by raising the dipstick (the level should be checked the second time the dipstick is removed after cleaning it the first time) and if the oil level is at the "max" mark, the oil level is correct, otherwise we top it up.

Handbrake adjustment on Ford Ecosport

First remove the plastic profile at the base of the gear lever. To do this, slightly widen the side edges and carefully lift it to release it. There is no need to remove it completely, just move it forward to avoid bother. Now remove the plastic center console around the handbrake by first working from the rear to release it and lifting it until the brake lever passes. Also in this case it is not necessary to remove it completely but, paying attention to the connected cables, it can be stowed in front of the passenger seat. At this point we notice that at the base of the handbrake lever, on the front, we find a nut. By acting on it, with a 10 wrench, we can adjust the brake force, increasing it by turning the nut clockwise, or decreasing it by turning it counterclockwise. Once adjusted, the center console can be repositioned first, pressing lightly to engage it, and then the profile of the gearbox base.
