How to Replace the Oil and Oil Filter on the Nissan Navara

To replace the oil and oil filter on the Nissan Navara, open the bonnet, pour engine flush into the oil filler cap, start the engine for 3 to 4 minutes, lift the vehicle, and unscrew the oil drain plug to let the oil flow into a container. Clean both the drain area and the plug, then lower the vehicle. On the right side, use a spanner to unscrew the oil filter cover, then remove the oil filter, allowing the oil to drain into a container. Clean the filter seat, apply oil to the gasket of the new filter, and screw it back along with the outer cover. After securing the oil filter, open the oil filler cap, insert a funnel, and pour in the specified litres as indicated by the manufacturer. When you are close to the indicated litres, check the level by pulling out the dipstick (the level should be checked the second time after cleaning it the first time). If the oil level is at the "max" mark, the oil is at the correct level; otherwise, top up as necessary.
