Removing the original radio is straightforward, but first ensure you have the unlock code, which is essential for reactivation. Start by removing the plastic trim around the radio by disengaging the hazard light switch. Next, simply unscrew the radio mounting screws, pull the radio forward, and disconnect the relevant connectors. If you plan to install an aftermarket radio, make sure to also purchase the trim and adapter wiring.
