First, lift the vehicle and start unscrewing the oil drain bolt found on the sump, allowing the fluid to drain into a container for about ten minutes; then unscrew and remove the oil filter cartridge, hand-tightening the new one. Finally, top up with new engine oil, checking the level with the dipstick.
