How to Replace the Ignition Barrel of the Nissan Qashqai

Model: Nissan Qashqai J10 - Years 2006-2014

Follow the instructions below to remove and replace the ignition barrel of the Nissan Qashqai. First, get into the vehicle and remove the plastic cover located behind the steering wheel; then disconnect the wiring harness from the barrel and use bits to remove the pins of the ignition barrel, as shown in the video. At this point, remove and replace the ignition barrel, or repair it; remember that you will need to replace the key if you are replacing the ignition lock!
