Where to find the legal chassis number (VIN) of the Nissan Qashqai J11

In this video, see where the legal chassis number (VIN - Vehicle Identification Number) is located on the Nissan Qashqai J11. The legal chassis number is not the one displayed on the plate on the driver's side windscreen; that is a "courtesy plate" used to move the vehicle until it is registered. It is also not the metal plate located within the driver's door frame, which is affixed by the manufacturer when the vehicle is completed and contains all essential data. The stamped chassis number is found inside the engine compartment, under the grille at the base of the windscreen. There is a small cover that you need to remove, and inside you will find the chassis number, which begins with SJN.
