Installing a Front Grille Protector on the Nissan Qashqai

On the Nissan Qashqai, like many other cars, the lower part of the front grille lacks sufficient protection against gravel, putting the radiators and sensors at risk. To address this issue, many e-commerce sites offer kits consisting of pre-formed additional grilles that can be easily fitted. The installation comes with zip ties, which, once installed, leave the heads visible: for a more aesthetically pleasing job, opt for the smaller size, 3.6mm, which allows the heads to be concealed behind the mounting holes. Start by fitting the grilles in the row below the number plate, passing the grilles behind the vertical bars of the grille and securing them with the zip ties. Move to the lower part, where the radar sensors are located. To facilitate installation, bend the top of the zip tie into a U shape. Next, install the grilles on the panel with the Nissan logo: to do this, remove the upper plate by unscrewing the screws and plastic pins.
