It is advisable to insert your fingers into the area near the steering wheel, while using a plastic spatula on the other side. At the same time, the air conditioning unit will also come out, so just lift it from underneath and pull it out, being careful of the panel that was removed initially, which will rub against the unit. Now you can disconnect the electrical connectors, and you are done.
