How to Reset the Trip Odometer in a Nissan Altima?

To reset the trip odometer in a Nissan Altima, turn on the ignition by turning the key in the ignition switch: once the dashboard is on, press and hold the TRIP RESET button located on the left side of the dashboard, next to the steering wheel. Continue to hold this button until the trip odometer resets to zero. Once the trip odometer has reset correctly, turn off the dashboard by turning the key.
