When the cigarette lighter socket of a car stops working, it means that the fuse related to it has been damaged and needs to be replaced in order to resume proper functioning. The fuse for the cigarette lighter socket of the Nissan Qashqai model J, produced from 2007 to 2013, is located inside the fuse box in the cabin. Specifically, the fuse box is located behind the driver's side glove compartment. The fuse in question is the only yellow one and is rated at 20 amps. Once the fuse is replaced, you can close the fuse box.
