When the cigarette lighter socket in a vehicle stops working, it means that the related fuse has blown and needs to be replaced to restore proper function. The fuse for the cigarette lighter socket in the Nissan Qashqai model J, produced from 2007 to 2013, is located inside the fuse box in the cabin.

Specifically, the fuse box is behind the driver's side glove compartment. The fuse in question is the only yellow one rated at 20 Amperes.

Once you have replaced the fuse, you can close the fuse box.

How to Remove the Rear Seat of a Hyundai Tucson?
