In this tutorial, you will see how to remove the passenger seat in the Opel Astra, a very simple and quick operation. Before proceeding, open the bonnet and disconnect the negative terminal of the battery to avoid accidental airbag activation.

Start by opening both passenger side doors, then move the seat forward, locate the two rear bolts of the brackets, and undo them with a Torx T40 spanner. Next, move the seat back, undo the additional bolts, and disconnect the connector located underneath the seat.

At this point, you can extract the seat from the cabin.
