How do you deactivate the traction control of the Opel Astra?

In order to deactivate the traction control on the Opel Astra, you need to insert the ignition key into the slot, so that the instrument panel lights up. Once the instrument panel is on, you can press and hold the SPORT button located on the central dashboard. After about five seconds of holding the button, you will see the ESP Off light appear on the instrument panel. To reactivate the traction control, simply turn off and turn on the instrument panel.
