When the service light illuminates on a 2016 Opel Astra, it indicates that a service is required. The service involves replacing fluids and filters, checking the engine and timing belt.

After this, you can reset the light. To reset, turn on the vehicle's ignition and then press the Menu button located on the left stalk of the steering wheel.

Press and hold the button at the end of the stalk, release it, and then press it again to confirm the reset. Immediately after, turn off the ignition and then restart it.
