How to open the front hood of the Opel Astra

Model: Vauxhall Astra Astra G - Years 1998-2006

Opening the engine hood of the Opel Astra model G is a very simple operation and similar to all the other Opel models on the road. Some models differ in the location of the opening button. In some cases, the button is placed near the driver's seat, in others under the steering wheel, as in the case of the following video. To open the engine hood, we must: - open the driver's side door; - sit in the driver's seat; - push out the hood opening lever; - insert fingers into the outer hood crease; - lower the clip and open the hood; to close it, simply release it.

How to Check the Oil Level on a Jeep Renegade?

To check the oil level on a Jeep Renegade, you need to open the bonnet to access the components inside the engine bay: on the lower left side of the engine block, you will find the dipstick for checking the level. This should be pulled out and thoroughly cleaned with a cloth: once cleaned, reinsert it back into its tube and pull it out immediately after. This way, you can check that the oil mark is between the minimum and maximum levels; finally, you can place the dipstick back in its tube.
