Opening the bonnet of the Opel Astra model G is a straightforward task, similar to other Opel models. Some models differ in the location of the release button.

In some cases, the button is near the driver's seat, while in others, it is under the steering wheel, as shown in the following video. To open the bonnet, do the following: - open the driver's side door; - sit in the driver's seat; - push the bonnet release lever outward; - insert your fingers into the gap of the outer bonnet; - lower the clip and open the bonnet; to close it, simply release it.
