In these brief and simple steps, you will see the procedure for removing and replacing the battery in the remote key of the Opel Astra. First, take your remote and start by removing the rear plastic cover of the remote by prying it off at the sides; then, remove the battery located inside, replacing it with the new one, as shown in the video.

At this point, install the new battery of the correct type (in this case, a CR 2032 3V); insert it the right way round and reassemble the plastic cover of the remote, checking the operation of the buttons!
