How do you remove the steering wheel and airbag from an Opel Astra? Follow this video for the procedure: Before removing the steering wheel, disconnect the battery power connectors. Use a screwdriver to remove the screws located at the back of the steering wheel cover, then remove the airbag from the steering wheel. Once the airbag is removed, disconnect the power cables, remove the central anchoring pin of the steering wheel, and disconnect the power connectors. Finally, pull the steering wheel out of its housing. To reassemble everything, proceed in reverse.
