How to replace the fuel filter of the Opel Astra J

Part: Diesel fuel filter

The diesel filter of the 2012 Opel Astra J is located in the front hood, specifically in the lower left part of the engine. To replace it, we need to open the front hood and, using a socket wrench with extension and a 10 mm insert, unscrew the nut that secures the filter cover, after disconnecting the connector. Allowing the diesel to drain into a container, we remove the filter. We replace the gaskets of the box and insert the new filter. We mount the filter in its housing by connecting the connector and screwing the nut on the cover.
