How to remove the diesel filter on an Opel Insignia: lift the car on a column lift or suitable jack, locate the diesel filter as shown in the video. Use a large screwdriver to unscrew the bolt that secures (a socket spanner can also be used) the container where the diesel filter is located.

Once the filter is removed, take it out of the vehicle (replace it with a new filter). Finally, refit the filter into the associated diesel filter container (connect the hoses and cables) and tighten the appropriate bolts.

Close the bonnet at the end of the maintenance.
