Where is the fuel filter located and how to reach it on an Opel Insignia?

Good morning, today we are here to discover where the diesel filter of our Opel Insignia is located and understand how to reach it. The filter is located inside the engine compartment, on the rear side, inside its housing. To reach it, we will have to remove the upper engine protections. Then, we will have to carefully release the clamps and fastening clips that hold the top cover of the filter in place, and then move the cover itself. At this point, we will have reached the diesel filter of our Opel Insignia, and we will be free to proceed with any necessary replacement.
