How to change the air filter of the Opel Vivaro 1 diesel

In this video we see how to change the air filter of the Opel Vivaro 1 diesel: we open the hood and locate the air box, made of black plastic, on the right side of the engine compartment. We loosen the three torx screws of the cover, without completely unscrewing them; in fact, they are designed to remain attached. We lift the cover by tilting it upwards and pulling it towards us, then we remove the used filter and check for any dirt residues in the compartment. We remove dust and leaves with a cloth or a vacuum cleaner; we do not use compressed air, which could push the dirt into the engine! We insert the new filter, paying attention to the mounting direction. We close the cover and screw in the torx screws. We check that the cover is properly closed; we start the engine to verify that there are no abnormal noises.
