How to replace the alternator of the Opel Zafira

Today we will explain how to replace the alternator of the 2013 Opel Zafira on your own. Before proceeding with the alternator replacement, we need to remove the air filter box; disconnect the connector from the box and unscrew the clamp on the tube, by doing this after unscrewing the bolts on the box we will be able to remove it. Using a 16mm wrench, loosen the tension of the belt tensioner pulley, then position yourself in front of the car battery to remove it. Unscrew the screw on the bar to remove the side support, disconnect the negative terminal and the positive terminal from the battery to deactivate the current and remove the battery. To remove the alternator, we need to unscrew the screw on the top and disconnect the power cable, from the bottom of the car unscrew the two alternator bolts to remove it. Insert the alternator into its housing and screw in the lower bolts after giving initial support from the top, screw in the screw and connect the power cable, then mount the battery on the car. Connect the positive terminal and mount the locking bracket on the battery, connect the negative terminal and insert the side cover. Tighten the belt tensioner pulley and mount the air filter box.
