How to replace the alternator of the Opel Zafira 1.9 CDTI

In this video we see how to replace the alternator of an Opel Zafira 1.9 CDTI. We need to remove the cover of the engine block and the air filter, as well as the grille at the end of the windshield, starting from the windshield wipers. Under the grille there is another rubber partition, which we still need to remove to have space; then we move on to the air filter. Now we can see the alternator, which appears very dirty with rust. We release the tension of the belt and then, with an 18 wrench, we loosen the bolts on both sides. We can find the new alternator for example on autoparti. It has the code 4G0094 at the price of 102.18 euros + the belt with code 305P0055 at the price of 8.68 euros + 9.95 euros for shipping.
