How to convert a regular Opel key for Astra G into a flip key

In this video, we want to show how it is possible to convert a standard Opel key for Astra G into a flip key, much more convenient to carry in your pocket. We open the old key using a small screwdriver, and remove the transponder and chips. We have obtained a blank snap key, which usually has three screws that we need to remove. Once we open the casing, we place the chip and transponder inside, then close the casing with its screws. The YouTuber has chosen the simplest system, which is to have the car key duplicated at a specialized center, rather than replacing their own key (which is impossible since it is not a pre-set key). Duplication is an operation that does not always work perfectly, but it is worth trying.
