How to replace the cabin filter of the Opel Astra J.

Today we will explain how to replace the cabin air filter on an Opel Astra model J vehicle. To access the filter, we need to remove the glove compartment, so we remove the side trim and disconnect the airbag switch, remove the side part of the dashboard, and using a 7mm socket wrench, unscrew the two screws that secure the glove compartment. Remove the compartment from its seat and remove the filter cover. Remove the filter and clean the compartment from any remaining impurities. Insert the new filter and close the cover of the box, insert the compartment and tighten the side screws. Mount the side cover of the dashboard and the trim.
