On your Opel Corsa D, the installation of a LED kit on the front headlights is done by accessing the back of the headlight assembly from the engine compartment. Before you begin, turn off the car, deactivate all lights, and allow the headlights to cool down if they have just been used.

Work with clean gloves and, if handling the old halogen bulbs, avoid leaving fingerprints on the surfaces. Reach the back of the headlight in question, remove the dust cover, and locate the lamp connector.

Disconnect the plug with a controlled movement, then release the original bulb from its clip, which may be spring-loaded or rotational depending on the headlight version. Close the headlight with the dust cover, ensuring that the seal is correct, as an unsealed cover can lead to condensation and fogging. Once the installation is complete, turn on the headlights and check that both sides are functioning without flickering.

Before driving, it is wise to also check the light beam on a flat surface to ensure that the cutoff line is even and that there is no glare; if necessary, proceed with a proper adjustment of the headlight alignment. In any case, for road use, always check the compatibility and approval of the LED kit for your specific headlight, as not all conversions are permitted according to regulations and vehicle configuration.
