How to Replace the Cabin Air Filter on an Opel Mokka

The operation to replace the cabin air filter in an Opel Mokka takes about 10-15 minutes. This must be done inside the cabin, specifically by opening the glove compartment located on the passenger side. Open the glove compartment. Once done, disconnect the latch (indicated by arrow 1 in the images) and press on the sides (indicated by the red arrows in the images) of the compartment to pull it down. At this point, release the tabs (indicated by the red arrows with number 1) and press on the sides (as shown in the images) to open the filter housing. Remove the cabin air filter and replace it with the new one. This operation should be performed at least once a year or every 15,000 miles.
