Today, we will go through the instructions that will allow you to disassemble and replace the rear brake pads on the Opel Astra. First, lift the vehicle and remove the rear wheel; then unscrew the screws securing the brake caliper, applying pressure to the caliper piston to retract it for removal. At this point, remove the old brake pads, cleaning the caliper from any residual dirt; then install the new original brake pads, reattaching the brake caliper to the disc (securing it with the two screws) and finally, the wheel!
