Replacing the rear brake pads is straightforward, but it is advisable to use a special tool to rotate and retract the piston of the brake caliper. Lift the vehicle on a ramp or with a jack (in this case, apply a safety stand), then remove the rear wheel to access the brake caliper. Unscrew the caliper mounting bolts to detach it and extract the old pads. Insert the new pads, ensuring the one with the wear indicator is positioned correctly. Retract the piston and refit the caliper.
