How to replace the EGR valve on the Opel/Vauxhall Mokka A

If you decide to replace the EGR valve on the Opel/Vauxhall Mokka A, open the bonnet and remove the plastic engine cover, then remove the coolant reservoir (without disconnecting the hoses), and remove the intake pipe that runs directly above the EGR valve. You will also need to remove the throttle body by disconnecting the electrical connector and unscrewing the four 10 mm bolts around the throttle body. Now you have access to the EGR valve: disconnect the electrical connector, unscrew the 10 mm bolts that secure the valve to the manifold, use a flat screwdriver to pry off the valve, and position the new one in the same spot. Remount the other components: the throttle body, the intake pipe, the coolant reservoir, and the plastic cover.
