How to replace the oil and filter in an Opel Corsa engine? Let's see how to proceed with the replacement in this guide. Open the car door and pull up the engine bay release lever located at the bottom left of the dashboard; lift the front bonnet and secure it. Using a socket wrench, unscrew the large securing bolt of the container cap (where the oil filter is located). Remove the worn oil filter and install a new one (after draining). Raise the car on a jack and unscrew the bolt from the oil sump; allow the fluid to drain into a container. Finally, top up with the new fluid and close the front bonnet.
