How to replace the air conditioning condenser on an Opel Astra H 1.7 CDTI?

Replacing the air conditioning condenser on an Opel Astra H 1.7 CDTI requires removing the front bumper. Start by removing the bumper grille and the reinforcement plate by unscrewing the bolts. Move the cooling fan assembly (by unscrewing the two nuts) and remove the intake pipe to create space. The condenser is connected to the radiator by four bolts (two at the top, two at the bottom) and two refrigerant gas pipes, secured with Torx screws. Also disconnect the pressure switch connector. Before removing the pipes, ensure the system has been discharged by a professional. Once the bolts are removed, extract the condenser from below. Before installing the new condenser, add approximately 50 ml of compressor oil. Reassemble everything in reverse order and have the system recharged by a qualified technician.
