How do you replace the crankshaft sensor on an Opel Astra? Lift the front bonnet and secure it with the provided prop. Locate the crankshaft sensor (from the engine bay or underneath the vehicle). Use a socket wrench to unscrew the securing bolts (if present next to the valve). Disconnect the part from its seat. Compare the worn part with the new one, install the new part with the respective securing bolts, and reconnect the crankshaft sensor. Finally, check the maintenance performed and the correct operation of the vehicle.
