Learn how to remove the RPM sensor from the crankshaft on an Opel Astra: lift the front bonnet and secure it with the prop rod. Locate the RPM sensor on the crankshaft, and using a socket spanner, undo the securing bolts (if present next to the valve).

Disconnect the component from the engine mount and compare it with the new part.

Refit the component with the respective securing bolts and connect the RPM sensor. After fitting the sensor, check the correct operation of the part.
