How to Replace the Remote Battery on an Opel Meriva

Have you tried to access your Meriva, but pressed the remote buttons without any result? Don't worry, you probably won't need to replace the entire device. Let's first try changing the battery; you may not have noticed it was running low. It's a very simple job, suitable for everyone. Get the new replacement, which is usually a "CR 2032" model; you can read this on the old battery once you open the remote. Now, push upwards on the cover from the side opposite the buttons, and you will see the battery. Remove it from its seat and insert the new one. Close it with the cover.
