Replacing the Alternator on an Opel Corsa

Is the battery in your car no longer charging? Here’s how to remove the alternator from the Opel Corsa. Pull the lever located at the bottom left of the dashboard and lift the bonnet, securing it. Locate the power battery and disconnect the terminals. Remove the air container, unscrew the bolts with a socket spanner, being careful not to damage the wiring membranes, and unscrew all the securing bolts of the alternator. Extract the alternator from the engine compartment. Now take the new replacement part and insert it into the appropriate housing, screw in the securing bolts, then tighten the side bolts of the alternator. Refit the air filter container.
