Vauxhall Corsa - Video tutorial

Model: Vauxhall Corsa Corsa D - Years 2006-2014
Part: Battery
Operation: CORSA D 1.3 CDTi battery change

Premise: before purchasing a new battery, check that the amperage corresponds to the original battery (45Ah, 50Ah, 72Ah etc.), as well as the dimensions. The example shows a 72Ah battery. Required: 10 mm fixed wrench and 13 T (or ratchet) tubular wrench, medium grit sandpaper, grease to protect contacts. Switch off the vehicle, remove the ignition key, apply the parking brake and open the engine hood. Stand in front of the open engine compartment. The battery is located in the upper right corner of the engine compartment. Disconnect the two battery terminals with the 10 mm fixed wrench, starting from the negative pole (left side) and then disconnecting the positive pole (right side). To be able to extract the battery it is necessary to remove the plastic cover that blocks it. Use the spanner by gently levering the two plastic tabs on the left side and lift the cover. Using the socket wrench size 13, completely loosen the catch located at the base of the battery, left side and remove it, taking care not to let it fall inside the bonnet. Remove the battery carefully. Clean the inside of the clamps with sandpaper. Remove the plastic covers from the new battery and apply a small amount of contact grease. Place the new battery in the housing, respecting the orientation of the poles (negative on the left and positive on the right). Reposition the retainer on the left of the battery and tighten it firmly with the 13 socket wrench. Close the plastic cover by simply pressing it in place Connect the positive pole and tighten the clamp with the 10 mm wrench. Repeat the operation for the negative pole.

How do I replace the Land Rover Evoque auxiliary battery?

In order to replace the auxiliary battery of the Land Rover Evoque, it is necessary to go inside the passenger compartment and remove the panel which is positioned immediately under the glovebox. Once the screws that secure this panel have been loosened, it will be possible to access the components located in its rear part, including the auxiliary battery. The latter must be disconnected from its cables and the fixing screws must be loosened. The battery can then be replaced with a new one and the panel can be fixed again with its screws.
