Vauxhall Zafira - Video tutorial

Model: Vauxhall Zafira Zafira B, MK 2, A05 - Years 2005-2011
Part: Lambda sensor
Operation: Replacement Lambda probe Opel Zafira

Replacing the lambda probe is a relatively simple operation. It should be done in case of irregularities or every 100,000-150. 000 Km depending on your model. Attention: more recent models are fitted with TWO lambda probes, of which only one is located in front of the engine as in the video. The second is located at the bottom, on the exhaust pipe and to access it, the vehicle must be raised on a workshop deck. In any case, the replacement procedure is the same. Required: socket wrench and cylindrical adapter for lambda probe of adequate size (cases with two or three universal adapters are available on the market to remove any probe regardless of the model). Operations: place the adapter on the probe, disconnect the cable leading to the electronic control unit and with the socket wrench unscrew the probe counterclockwise. To fit the new probe, follow the steps in reverse order. If everything is done correctly, the vehicle will not exhibit any error codes on the instrument cluster.

How to reset the Renault Master AdBlue warning light

If when you turn on the ignition you see a strange warning relating to AdBlue, do not worry because it is nothing serious. Everything is solved in a few minutes and with a very low cost. In fact, it is a particular additive used in Diesel engines to reduce the environmental impact. Before continuing with the various steps it is therefore necessary to purchase a tank of AdBlue. Furthermore, all the various operations must be carried out with the engine off. The AdBlue tank is located on the passenger side, between the door and the tailgate. Unscrew the blue cap present and pour in the new AdBlue with the help of a rubber hose or an appropriate funnel. Once this is done, you can close the tank and the flap. Switch on the ignition again and the warning light has disappeared.
