How to Remove the Roof Panel on Astra

Removing the cover panel of the car roof? Remove the panel and replace or repair it. Unscrew the securing screws of the side handles of the headlining with a screwdriver, then remove the sun visors and the overhead lighting unit located in the panel. If the car is equipped with a sunroof, you need to remove the side covers. Once everything is disassembled, detach the headlining panel around the perimeter of the car roof, passing the wires of the lights into the panel. Once the panel is free from clips, you can pull it out of the vehicle. Be careful when removing it from the car.
