How to Remove the Passenger Seat on an Opel Astra

Model: Vauxhall Astra Astra G - Years 1998-2006

Need to remove the front seat? Here’s how to take the seat out for replacement. Disconnect the power connectors (if applicable), first move the seat forward (using the metal handle) and raise the seat base, then unscrew the securing bolts on the rear rail with a socket wrench: remove the plastic covers from the rails. Move the seat back and remove the securing pins from the front of the rail. Disconnect the power connectors for the front seat. Refit the front seat in the car by following the disassembly steps mentioned earlier. Test the seat movement.
