Starter Motor Disassembly

Before proceeding with the disassembly of the starter motor, disconnect the battery as the motor receives a constant positive supply and everything else is grounded: even a minimal contact between the cables during disassembly can cause sparks and unpleasant short circuits.

The starter motor is located near the gearbox and is connected via a flange: once located, disconnect the power cables and unscrew the mounting pins to remove it from its housing.

You can test it on the bench by securing it in a vice, connecting the casing to ground, applying the constant positive, and then energising the pinion actuator relay with a positive.

How to Remove the Rear Seat of a Hyundai Tucson?

To remove the rear seat of a Hyundai Tucson, follow these steps. Start by moving the front seats to their most forward position to gain space. Next, locate the release lever on the underside of the rear seat, near the floor. Press this lever down while pulling the seat upwards to unlock it from the anchor pins.
