Instructions for Dismantling the Centre Console

Model: Vauxhall Astra Astra G - Years 1998-2006
Part: Center console tunnel

First, remove the plastic cover located just below the ashtray, in front of the gear lever; then open the ashtray lid and unscrew the fixing screws to extract it, disconnecting the power connector for the cigarette lighter. Next, remove the glove compartment shelf located just below the climate control buttons; use the appropriate extraction keys to remove the car radio; extract the hazard light switch and unscrew the four fixing screws of the centre console support: at this point, it is possible to remove it by disconnecting the display connectors and the control cables for the climate control knobs.
