Replacing the Gear Knob and Gaiter on Opel Astra H

Model: Vauxhall Astra Astra H - Years 2004-2010

Start by removing the top part of the gear knob, the one with the gear markings: this is a very simple operation, just lever in the surrounding gap with a small flat screwdriver. Pull the gear gaiter from the base: to do this, simply pull it by hand, but if you encounter difficulties, you can again use the small flat screwdriver for assistance. Lift it completely to the knob, which you can detach by pulling and slightly unscrewing it. If necessary, loosen the plastic clip. Remove the gaiter, insert the new one and clip it into the base, then fit the knob and you’re done.

How to Check the Oil Level on a Jeep Renegade?

To check the oil level on a Jeep Renegade, you need to open the bonnet to access the components inside the engine bay: on the lower left side of the engine block, you will find the dipstick for checking the level. This should be pulled out and thoroughly cleaned with a cloth: once cleaned, reinsert it back into its tube and pull it out immediately after.
