How to Change the Engine Oil on an Opel Antara

Model: Vauxhall Antara MK 1 - Years 2006-2015

Before you can begin, open the front bonnet of your Opel Antara. Start by unscrewing and removing the top bolt of the oil filler. Next, put the car in first gear and engage the handbrake, then lift the front of the car. This will allow you to access the oil drain bolt, which you will need to unscrew and remove. Once you have removed this bolt, wait for all the oil to drain out, then re-screw it and lower the car. At this point, you can add the new oil, then re-screw the top bolt of the oil filler, and you will have completed the change.
