Before you can start, open the rear tailgate of your Opel Meriva. Begin by releasing the clips that secure the struts using a flathead screwdriver as a lever.

Next, unclip and remove the struts from their support pins. Once this step is complete, you can finally remove the boot struts, finishing the disassembly.

To install the new hydraulic struts, simply reverse these steps, and the replacement will be complete.
