How to Replace the Wiper Motor on an Opel Astra

Before you can begin, open the bonnet of your Opel Astra. Start by disconnecting the main electrical connector of the wiper motor, then remove the upper seal. Next, disassemble the wipers and the upper cover by unscrewing the bolts and fixing screws, and you will reach the motor block. Now, unscrew and remove the fixing bolts of the support plate, then extract it from its seat. At this point, unscrew and remove the bolts securing the motor to the plate, then remove it, and you will have completed the disassembly. To fit the new motor, simply repeat these instructions in reverse, and the replacement will be complete.
